It’s a free, community arts festival celebrating independent Australian comic book creators. They’re are celebrating their 3rd year of the event which will be held at the Northcote Town Hall on December 21st 2019, 11am -4pm.
Indie Comic Con is designed for all ages and aims to be an inclusive safe space for the community, and it features some awesome attractions including:
- Artist Alley featuring over 70 indie creators exhibiting comics, zines, graphic novels & more
- Free comic art workshops for all ages
- Art exhibition showcasing the works of Australian cartoonists
- Library lounge featuring a large collection of local comics to read
- Q&A panels with prominent local artists:
- Chris Gooch (Bottled, Under Earth)
- Tatiana Davidson (Coney’s Best Cuts, Blackfish)
